The environment is the responsibility of all of us. Here at Crib Gogh Ltd we believe in the wise words of the indigenous Native Americans the Navaho who say:
We do not inherit the planet from our parents but we borrow it from our children
It is with this ethos that we design our products with multifunctionality. If it can do more than one job then you only have to buy the one product. With this in mind we are reducing manufacturing costs and the carbon footprint that manufacturing creates. We use the best materials that are available on the market giving the products we design a greater life span and where possible all materials are recyclable. We take a product and completely revolutionise the design and its functionality. Our Rucksack is designed for many functions giving unique access both on the move and in hostile environments.
We are Revolutionising Rucksack Applications
The outdoor enthusiast and conservationist now have options in moving personal equipment like never before. We are also developing new renewable sources of energy and harvesting that energy to use as and when required on the move. With our children in mind, fashion to some extent has added to the increase in back ailments and back problems. Physiotherapists and Chiropractors are reporting an increase in both adult and child back ailments. In 2005 the ratio was one in five adults/children increasing to one in three adults/children in 2008. It is acknowledged that children and teenagers are especially vulnerable as their bones are still soft and developing. The cause of this marked upturn is a combination of poorly designed backpacks, shoulder bags, extra homework (increased weight).
Carrying backpacks with double shoulder straps over one shoulder or carrying single strap bags (i.e. laptop cases) load the weight unevenly and in the process affect the carrier’s posture. Education and support will be offered with the sale of all of our designs. The British Military has learned over many campaigns how essential it is to manually carry equipment to the theatre of conflict. They have learned how to pack a rucksack to its maximum potential using rucksacks that have not evolved with the times and are effectively stagnant. Crib Gogh Ltd has now revolutionised this to enhance the performance of the wearer for greater periods than before.
It is this knowledge that has been utilised and incorporated into our designs and functionality. The British Chiropractic Association estimates that the average teenager in full time education carries 40lb of weight with the amount of homework, books and peripherals that today’s education and lifestyle demands. It is a legal requirement by schools to provide on site lockers for pupils, yet it is estimated that 61% of children at school today do not have one and therefore carry these loads around all day. The recommended weight ratio by the British Chiropractic Association should be 15% of the child’s weight rising to a maximum of 20%. We compliment this with having the right design to transport the weight.
We have set new design standards and multifunctional practicality in the designs that we offer and...
