Here at Crib Gogh Ltd we test all of our products to destruction if we can’t destroy it in the field then you shouldn’t be able to destroy it in the field. When we have tested it we then give it to other Former Special Forces and Extreme Survival Experts to test and to try and destroy it. We use the best materials available and we do not skimp on the manufacture process with 30% more Bartech’s than needed.
All our fabrics are tested to the highest standards for phosphorus & fire retardancy. The webbing zips and buckles are tested to destruction and all comply with and exceed British and European Standards. We test with SGS Hong Kong Ltd, who test for many of the World’s leading Industries (www.hk.sgs.com). Unlike other manufacturers we believe that if the life expectancy of the product is designed to last then:
We only have to explain the cost of quality than apologise for anything less
We are working with the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce where we are setting new standards for product development, research and quality control as we prepare for the commercial and military product launch. We have liaised with DMM Ltd of Wales taking the best available climbing accessories and utilising them on the Constrictor Module and the Mountain Raptor. By working with these companies we have developed new concepts that allow the traditional mountaineer/climber and fell walkers to carry their equipment in rucksacks that are designed to work in these environments, maximising comfort and weight distribution in a way that has not been available before.

The commercial version of our rucksacks is tested against the market leaders. These tests are all independently carried out by Dr Rick Adderley of A E Solutions (www.a-esolutions.com) where the wearer is monitored and measured for skin temperature, stress, heart rate, breathing, posture, recovery and reaction times. This allows us to determine that the unique back system distributes the weight correctly along the back and that the loads are placed on the correct muscle groups. The more comfortable the wearer is the greater the distance they can travel before fatigue sets in. The unique strap support reduces the tension on the neck allowing the wearer to be more responsive for longer periods on the move before the strain starts to dull the senses. Our Patented back system and chassis/anchor system allows all of our add-ons to be tested with the rucksacks fully loaded so we can test and monitor the effects of the most unwieldy of equipment to be moved across difficult terrain giving the wearer options like never before.
